Veridian Named One of Iowa’s Top Workplaces

Veridian Credit Union has been named one of Iowa's Top Workplaces for the 12th time, placing fifth among 34 large employers in the 2026 rankings published by the Des Moines Register. The annual award is based on employee feedback gathered through a confidential workplace survey. Employees evaluate factors such as workplace culture, leadership, communication, growth opportunities and employee engagement.

“Knowing these awards are founded in feedback gathered directly from our employees is what makes them so meaningful,” said Veridian’s Chief People Officer Shawna Matz. “Veridian’s a great place because of our people. Being recognized for that is one of the top honors we could receive.” 

In addition to the overall ranking, Veridian also received the Top Workplaces specialty award for benefits. This award is based on employee responses to the survey statement, "I am very satisfied with my benefits package." It's especially notable because each specialty award is presented to only one employer out of the more than 170 organizations participating in this year's survey program.
