Summary

The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for individuals who come to the Ansborough branch and assists members and non-members with checking in for appointments and ensuring they visit with the proper individual to meet their needs. The position also assists various departments with projects as needed.

Essential Functions

  • Greet members and guests and ask questions to determine the department required to assist.
  • Check member/guest into Lobby Tracking system or direct or schedule accordingly.
  • Maintain security logbook for visitors and service individuals, including check-in, check-out and issuance of security badge.
  • Receive and distribute incoming and outgoing shipments/deliveries/documents.
  • Update rate sheets as needed.
  • Ensure waiting area is stocked, cleaned and maintained.
  • Lock and unlock building entrance doors.
  • Update Member addresses in the core system as they are provided via USPS .

  • Occasionally lift and/or move items over 10 pounds.
  • Remain sedentary (seated) for extended periods of time.

Working Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.

Travel

Limited travel expected.

Required Education And Experience

  • High School Diploma.
  • Up to one year of job-related work experience.
  • Fluent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
