Veridian named one of America's Best Credit Unions to Work For

For the 10th consecutive year, Veridian has been recognized by American Banker as one of the nation's "Best Credit Unions to Work For," and is the only Iowa-based credit union earning a spot on the publication's 2026 list. The annual recognition highlights credit unions that excel at creating supportive workplace cultures, investing in employee development and delivering exceptional employee experiences.

The ranking is based on extensive workplace assessments and employee feedback evaluating leadership, culture, benefits, communication and overall job satisfaction.

This recognition adds to a growing list of recent honors for Veridian. Forbes recently named Veridian the #1 Best-in-State Credit union in both Iowa and Nebraska for the second year in a row. Freddie Mac named Veridian a 2026 Home Possible RISE Award recipient for fastest growth in Home Possible Mortgages to make homeownership more affordable for low-income borrowers. Callahan & Associates, a research and consulting firm specializing in the credit union industry, ranked Veridian #1 among all U.S. credit unions for returning value to members in the second quarter of 2026.
