What is a CVV Card Code?
A Card Verification Value (CVV) is a security code used to help protect against fraud when making purchases online or by phone.
For Visa, Mastercard, and Discover cards, the CVV is the 3-digit code located on the back of the card, usually on or near the signature panel. For American Express cards, the security code is the 4-digit number printed on the front of the card above the card number.
