Who is eligible for Social Security Income?
Individuals eligible for Social Security Income (SSI) include anyone who is:
- Age 65 or older
- Blind
- Disabled
The Social Security Administration (SSA) requires that the beneficiary meet one or more of these requirements, as well as provide proof that he/she has limited income, limited resources, and meets specific residency requirements.
