How do you verify the external account I’m transferring from belongs to me?

Veridian's External Transfers allows you to verify ownership of your external account by choosing either instant or manual methods. We recommend instant, if your financial is compatible, so it can link in the moment vs needing to wait up to 3 business days. 

The instant method allows you to enter the online banking credentials for your other financials login and confirm the account you want to add. 

Like other online account services such as PayPal, Veridian's manual method makes two small deposits into the external account you have provided. Once these deposits clear your account, you can sign into online banking and verify the amounts that were deposited.
