How to add a joint owner to a safe deposit box?

To add a joint owner (co-renter) to your safe deposit box, a new Safe Deposit Box Lease Agreement must be completed and signed by all renters. This form can be completed at any Veridian branch.  

• If all parties are present at a branch, the new lease can be completed and signed during the visit.
• If the new joint owner cannot be present, a lease agreement can be provided for their signature.
  Signatures from individuals who are not present may need to be notarized.  The signed lease must be returned within 45 days. If it is not returned within that timeframe, a new lease agreement may need to be completed.  Once the signed lease is received and verified, the joint owner will be added to the safe deposit box lease records.
