What types of IRAs does Veridian offer?
Veridian offers the following types of IRAs.
Traditional IRA
Choose a traditional IRA if you want the tax deduction right now. It also makes sense if you anticipate paying taxes at a significantly lower rate in retirement. The money invested in a Traditional IRA is tax-free when the initial contribution (deposit) is made and the withdrawals are taxed. Plus, you’re not required to take mandatory withdrawals until you are 73 years old.
Roth IRA
With a Roth IRA, accumulated earnings on qualified distributions are tax-free and can be taken out early without penalty. CD early withdrawal penalties may apply. Roth IRAs do not require distributions at a certain age allowing your savings to accumulate longer tax-free.
Self Employed IRA Plans (SEP)
A Simplified Employee Pension (SEP) IRA allows self-employed individuals and small business owners to make contributions to retirement accounts for themselves and eligible employees.
