What is Visa Account Updater?

Visa Account Updater is a service mandated by Visa that allows participating merchants to receive updated card information for card on file payments.

For example, if you have authorized a merchant to use your debit or credit card for recurring payments and that card is blocked or expired, Visa will share the new card information with merchants who have signed up for the program.

Note: It is still your responsibility to ensure merchants have your correct account information. Please activate your new card before providing any updated card details to merchants or service providers.
