Traveling out of the country: what you should know.
Before you leave, notify Veridian of your travels using our Digital Banking services or by contacting us. When logged into your account online or in our app, select the Cards tab and then Manage my Travel Plans.
Expect extra security measures when traveling and accessing Veridian Digital Banking. Logins from outside the U.S. may trigger verification steps. In some cases, accessing email and SMS (text) can be difficult while abroad. For a more reliable option, we recommend using an authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator) and setting two-factor authentication to use in the Veridian app. You can update this in your settings within Digital Banking.
Plan to bring at least 2-3 debit and/or credit cards with you when you travel. Make sure that you know your PIN for these cards - including the credit cards - and do not store your PIN with the cards.
Add your debit and credit cards to your digital wallet before you travel. This provides a secure, convenient backup payment method.
Bring your Veridian Security Code and our phone number (800-235-3228). If you experience any issues while traveling, contact us - we're here to help ensure you maintain access to your account through our Digital Banking.
