Veridian tops Forbes "Best-In-State Credit Unions" list for Iowa & Nebraska

Forbes has placed Veridian Credit Union at the top of two of its “Best-In-State Credit Union” rankings for 2025, including Iowa and Nebraska. The rankings are presented annually by Forbes and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider. Both are available on Forbes' website.

“To top Forbes’ 'Best-In-State Credit Unions' lists is meaningful because it’s based on our members’ feedback,” said Veridian President and CEO Renee Christoffer. “It’s a reflection of our partnership with our members to create their successful financial futures, so there’s no greater compliment we could receive.”

Each ranking is based on an independent survey of approximately 26,000 U.S. residents and analysis of publicly available reviews. Eighty percent of the score was determined by survey participants asked to rate their credit union in six categories: trust, terms and conditions, branch services, digital services, customer services and financial advice. Twenty percent of the score was based on a sentiment analysis of publicly available online reviews. In each state, the credit union with the highest combined score from the analysis of survey results and publicly available reviews was awarded.

Forbes has compiled the annual list of each state’s top credit unions for eight years. Veridian has been included in Iowa's ranking for six of those years, and this is Veridian’s first time on the list for Nebraska.
