Iowa Arts Festival
An annual celebration of the arts in Iowa City.
The Iowa Arts Festival, presented by Veridian, is a free, family-friendly community celebration that welcomes nearly 35,000 people each year to experience, learn about and enjoy the arts.
The heart of the festival features more than 110 local and national visual artists displaying and selling their artwork. The festival is also well known for its music; Culinary Row, which serves regional and ethnic food; and a variety of activities and entertainment, both creative and educational, for children and families.
Friday night features Solera Quartet's "Dark Side of the Moon" performance on the main stage at 9 p.m. The main stage on Saturday night includes William Elliott Whitmore at 7 p.m. and Dave Alvin and Jimmie Dale Gilmore with The Guilty Ones at 9 p.m.
At the festival, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with Veridian Credit Union staff at Veridian's booth on the corner of Clinton Street and Iowa Avenue. Back by popular demand, Veridian Credit Union will host a free photo booth all weekend for festival attendees to enjoy. Grab your friends, family and some fun props and capture the moment. A keepsake photo will print instantly.
