Give Warmth Coat Drive

Keeping the community warm this winter

Veridian partners with the Salvation Army and the community to provide free winter coats and accessories to those in need. This event is made possible through funding from Veridian and the generosity of the community donating new and gently used items. 

Coat Donations
Veridian is now accepting donations of new and gently used coats and accessories through Friday, October 2 at all Veridian branches in Waterloo and Cedar Falls. 

We will accept: 
- Winter coats (all sizes needed)
- Snow boots- Hats
- Gloves and mittens
- Scarves

Due to limited space, we will NOT accept: 
- Clothing items for any season
- Regular shoes
- Light weight jackets

Register for a free coat beginning Monday, September 21
This event is held by appointment only. Registration for free coats will be open Monday, September 21 through Friday, October 2. Those who have signed up for an appointment will be able to shop for coats on Thursday, October 15 during their designated appointment time. If you have any questions, please email events@veridiancu.org.

We will continue to accept coat donations all winter long at The Salvation Army. Donations can be new or gently used winter items. You can drop off donations at The Salvation Army, 89 Franklin St in Waterloo. We'll continue to give out donations to those in need all winter long, while supplies last.
