FAQ

What is Community Shred Day?

Veridian partners with local shred companies to provide on-site shred trucks, allowing participants to protect their identity by safely disposing of unwanted, sensitive documents.

This event is free and open to the public. Each individual can bring a maximum of two containers of confidential documents to shred, with a maximum of 25 pounds per container.

We're taking measures to offer safe, no-contact service at Community Shred Day in the fall of 2020. Attendees are asked to bring documents in the trunk or cargo area of your vehicle, remain in your vehicle at all times and enjoy the free, full-service event. Event staff will wear face masks or shields, unload your documents, place them in shred bins and load them into the mobile shred truck.

Details are available at www.veridiancu.org/shred.
