The Veridian Credit Union Fund provides funding through Veridian's Financial Literacy Grant and Inclusive Community Grant.
Veridian Credit Union® has partnered with the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa (CFNEIA) to establish the Veridian Credit Union Fund.
The purpose of the Financial Literacy Grant is to improve financial literacy among adults and children. Grants up to $5,000 annually will be awarded to organizations who work to fulfill this mission.
The purpose of the Inclusive Community Grant is to help create a community that is welcoming and inclusive of all individuals. Grants up to $5,000 annually will be awarded to organizations who work to fulfill this mission.
Organizations applying for this grant must value the participation of all people in its activities. An activity is considered inclusive if a variety of communities/backgrounds are participating together in one place.

As a credit union, we’re organized differently than other financials. Veridian is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned by our members. That means all net earnings are returned to members in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and low-to-no fees. Veridian is also governed by a volunteer board of directors who are elected by our members. Each member has one vote in the election for our board regardless of how much money that individual has on deposit.
