Annual Mike and Leona Adams Thanksgiving DinnerFor over 25 years, Veridian has planned and been the major sponsor of the Annual Mike and Leona Adams Thanksgiving Dinner. The event typically serves around 1,000 Cedar Valley residents.
Community InvestmentOne way Veridian enriches the community is by investing personnel time and funds in valuable community organizations. In 2014, Veridian employees volunteered more than 1,500 hours, and Veridian donated more than $450,000 to 200 organizations.
ArtShareOriginal artwork created by local high school students is displayed at select Veridian branches. The partnership is made possible through Veridian’s annual ArtShare program, created to give a public forum to local artistic talent.
Veridian ScholarshipsEach year, Veridian provides $3,500 in academic scholarships for first-year, undergraduate, and graduate college students.

As a credit union, we’re organized differently than other financials. Veridian is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned by our members. That means all net earnings are returned to members in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and low-to-no fees. Veridian is also governed by a volunteer board of directors who are elected by our members. Each member has one vote in the election for our board regardless of how much money that individual has on deposit.
