How does this impact Veridian? Veridian's online and mobile banking services utilize systems that are not vulnerable to the Heartbleed bug.
Do I need to change my password? Changing your Veridian password is not required. If you have other sites outside of Veridian that you log in to, we recommend that you verify with those organizations whether you should update your password.
What else can I do? We encourage our members to take proactive steps to guard against fraud. Be diligent in monitoring your accounts online and contact your financial immediately if you see anything out of the ordinary. Be cautious of sites you visit and what information you share online. Additionally, routinely changing your password to sites you access is a good security practice.
