Members get industry-leading features in English and Spanish
Waterloo, Iowa: Veridian Credit Union expanded their Web-based banking services today with the release of a mobile banking application for Android and iOS platforms featuring mobile check deposit and other timesaving features. The free application is available for download via Google Play and iTunes stores.
Veridian's mobile check deposit is a first among Iowa's credit unions; Veridian members can take a smartphone photo of a check to have it deposited in their account. The application also helps members find branches and ATMs based on their location, along with the other mobile banking features expected today - checking balances, transferring money, etc. A Spanish-language version is available, too.
"Veridian's mobile application provides an added level of convenience that our members have come to expect," said Brett Engstrom, Veridian's Web services manager. "All of Veridian's online services expand our hours of service."
The credit union has grown an array of online services since 2009. Members continue to have a mobile version of Veridian's website available for online banking as well as banking via text messages. Members can also transfer money to any email, mobile phone number, or social network profile using Veridian's person-to-person service powered by Dwolla.
