The new branch at 1901 EP True Parkway, near the intersection of EP True and Grand Avenue, will be a renovation of an existing facility previously occupied by First American Bank. Veridian officials anticipate opening in mid-October.

The EP True location will be a full-service branch, complete with three drive-up lanes, a drive-up ATM, safe-deposit boxes and office space. Kristin Melhus has been named the branch supervisor.

The new branch will add to a growing list of Central Iowa locations for the Iowa-based credit union, which already has two branches in Ankeny and one each in Des Moines, Johnston and West Des Moines.

"We are excited about our expansion in West Des Moines," said Shelly McGill, Veridian’s regional manager for Central Iowa branches. "The new EP True branch will involve the renovation of a vacated building, give a boost to the local economy and bring more convenient services to those in West Des Moines who value the credit union experience."
