- - - Veridian Credit Union is pleased to announce it will be opening a new branch location in Iowa City. The newest location
for the credit union will be inside the Hy-Vee store at 812 South First Avenue and is set to open in early October of this
year.
This will be the 22nd branch for Veridian, and the first branch in the Iowa City area. Veridian currently has locations in
Ankeny, Cedar Falls, Cedar Rapids, Des Moines, Independence, Marion, Oelwein, Waterloo, Waverly and West Des Moines.
"This new office will allow us to better serve our current members that live or work in the Iowa City area and also build
relationships with new members," said Jean Trainor, President and CEO at Veridian.
Veridian's new Hy-Vee branch, open seven days a week, will offer deposit and new account services, auto loans, and
consumer loans. The space for the branch is currently occupied by Bank of the West.
