Waterloo, IA - - - Veridian Credit Union is pleased to announce the grand opening celebration of its fifth central Iowa location. The new branch is located at 5401 NW 86 th St. in Johnston.
A grand opening celebration is scheduled at the new branch for Saturday, June 6 from 9 a.m. to noon, when guests can enjoy refreshments and cash and prize giveaways.
"We’re excited to open a Veridian branch in such a great community," said Shelly McGill, Veridian’s central Iowa region manager. "The new location in Johnston complements our four other central Iowa branches."
The 4,000-square-foot facility has seven employees and is a full-service branch consisting of three drive-up lanes, a drive-up ATM, six teller stations, a self-serve coin machine, safe deposit boxes and office space dedicated to mortgage and consumer lending. Veridian already has two branches in Ankeny and one each in Des Moines and West Des Moines.
