- - - Veridian Credit Union is pleased to announce the winners of the 2007 Veridian scholarship program.
Elizabeth Keltner of Ankeny was awarded the $1,500 scholarship. Curtis Mather of Cedar Falls was awarded the $1,000 scholarship. Matthew Shannon of Independence was awarded the $500 scholarship. Michele Tabares of Davenport received the $500 non-traditional scholarship.
Veridian also awarded Leigh Creason of Des Moines the $1000 ArtShare Scholarship. The Veridian ArtShare Scholarship supports the development of outstanding high school students who excel in the arts and who plan to pursue educational programs leading to a career in the arts.
“We are pleased to offer scholarships for students who are continuing their education to become the leaders of tomorrow," said Jean Trainor, President/CEO of Veridian.
