- - - On Saturday, April 21, Veridian Credit Union held its 73rd Annual Meeting at Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo.
The meeting was broadcast via the Iowa Communications Network to Des Moines Area Community College in Ankeny and Kirkwood
Community College in Cedar Rapids. In the election for five open volunteer positions on the Board of Directors, the
following candidates were each elected to three-year terms: Scott C. Anderson, Thomas DeLong, Paul Gengler, DeLon R.
Gobeli, and Ginger A. Shirley.
At the organizational meeting held Monday, April 23, the following officers were elected by the Board: David R.
Schultz, Chair; Creston Van Wey, Chief Financial Officer; Vicki Atkins, First Vice Chair; Jim Kacher, Second Vice Chair;
Paul Gengler, Secretary.
Veridian Credit Union, founded in 1934 in Waterloo, Iowa, is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned by its
