Waterloo, IA
- - - Veridian Credit Union is pleased to announce two grants that will be available to non-profit
organizations in 2009.
The first of the two grants, the Inclusive Community Grant, targets programs that integrate one or all of the
following populations into the community: persons with disabilities, persons of modest means and Latino immigrants.
Ideally, these programs raise these populations out of their traditionally segregated role, providing them opportunities
to participate in activities alongside members of the broader community.
The second grant, the Financial Education Grant, will fund programs that provide financial education for adults
and/or children.
Applications for both grants must be received by 3 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2009.
Veridian will hold seminars in May to give non-profit organizations an overview of the grant application process
