- - - Veridian Credit Union will celebrate a historic event on Saturday, April 25, as it conducts its 75th Annual Meeting.
The event will be held at Tama Hall at Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo, 1501 E. Orange Rd. Veridian will recognize
75 years of serving Iowans.
The credit union will then shift its focus to the future, as members in good standing, who are at least 16 years old,
will have the opportunity to vote for Veridian's Board of Directors. Five volunteer candidates will be elected, and each
will serve a three-year term.
Doors will open at 12:30 p.m., and the meeting will begin at 1:30 p.m. Veridian members who would like to vote from
the comfort of home can visit Veridian's Web site, www.veridiancu.org, to see candidate biographies and cast an electronic
vote. Members who vote online will not be able to vote at the Annual Meeting.
