Waterloo, IA
- - - Over 50 people attended Veridian Credit Union's ArtShare Premier featuring artwork from Marion High School
students on Wednesday, February 21. Twenty-four pieces of artwork, including paintings, drawings, photography, and pottery
were loaned by the students for display in the credit union's Blairs Ferry branch.
Veridian Credit Union sent all the two-dimensional artwork to Kyle's Framing for framing and will display them
for six months. When the artwork is replaced with new pieces, the framed artwork will be returned to the students.
"The students felt honored to have their artwork on display at the credit union. It provided a 'real world' opportunity to
be involved in an art premier showcasing their artwork," said Jennifer Thilges, Art Teacher at Marion High School.
