Waterloo, IA - - - Over 150 people attended Veridian Credit Union’s ArtShare Premier featuring artwork from Columbus, Waterloo East and West, Expo, and Valley Lutheran High School students on Monday, February 7. Students loaned Veridian over 40 pieces of artwork, including paintings, drawings, photography, jewelry, and pottery for display in the credit union’s Ansborough office lobby.
Veridian Credit Union sent the two-dimensional artwork to Heritage Art Gallery to be professionally framed and will display the artwork at the Ansborough office for one year. When the artwork is replaced with new pieces, the framed artwork will be returned to the students.
"The ArtShare Premiere is a wonderful opportunity for students to share their original, self- expressive artwork with family, friends, and the community. This art show creates pride for students and teachers alike," said Deidra Noborikawa, East High Art Teacher.
