Cedar Rapids, IA - - - The artwork of selected Marion High School students was showcased during the ArtShare Premiere held at the Veridian Credit Union branch at 5805 Rockwell Dr. NE in Cedar Rapids. On Monday, February 6, more than 80 attendees made up of family, friends and the community supported young artists.
There were 31 original works of art on display. The mediums consisted of ceramics, computer artwork designed in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator software, and drawings done in graphite, colored pencil and marker.
“It was fun to watch everyone as they looked at each piece of artwork,” said Veridian regional manager Justin Mager. “Veridian appreciates the support the community shows to the artists that participate in this event.”
