- - - Veridian Credit Union will host the fourth annual ArtShare Premier on Monday, February 2, 2009, from
5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The exhibit, to be held at Veridian's main office at 1827 Ansborough Avenue, is free and

ArtShare is the award-winning program designed by Veridian to increase the awareness of young artists in
the community. Veridian will display approximately 50 two- and three-dimensional pieces created by art students
from Columbus, East and West high schools. Veridian hosts ArtShare Premier to give students, their families and
the community a chance to view the new showcase.
The paintings, drawings and photography are professionally framed and matted at Heritage Art Gallery compliments
of Veridian. The framed artwork will be returned to the students after it is displayed for one year. Jewelry, pottery
and sculptures are displayed in an enclosed case in Veridian's lobby.
In conjunction with the ArtShare program, Veridian established the ArtShare Scholarship. It supports the
development of high school students who excel in the arts and plan to pursue educational programs leading to
a career in the field. Veridian awards one $1,000 scholarship annually for undergraduate tuition. Scholarship
guidelines and applications are available at www.veridiancu.org and all branches. Applications are due by Friday,
February 6, 2009.
