Waterloo, IA - - - Veridian Credit Union is pleased to announce the winners of the 2011 Veridian scholarship program.
In the Incoming Freshman category, Elizabeth Dale of Cedar Rapids was awarded a $1,000 scholarship, and Emily Nelson of Waterloo was awarded a $500 scholarship. Veridian also honored Nathan Temeyer of Polk City with a $1,000 Undergraduate scholarship, and Iowa City native, Kendra Frush, received a $1,000 Graduate scholarship.
Waterloo West High School student, Jenna Hewitt, was awarded a $1,000 ArtShare Scholarship. The Veridian ArtShare Scholarship supports the development of outstanding high school students who excel in the arts and plan to pursue educational programs leading to a career in the arts.
Cally Bengston of Fairbank received a $1,000 Family Involvement Board (FIB) Scholarship from the Iowa Credit Union Foundation.
