Waterloo, IA
- - - Veridian Credit Union is pleased to announce two grants totaling $70,000 available in 2008.
The first of the two grants, called the Financial Education grant, will fund programs that
provide financial education for adults and/or children.
The second grant, called the Inclusive Community grant, targets programs that integrate one or all
of the following populations into the broader community: persons with disabilities, persons of modest
means, and Latino immigrants. Ideal programs raise these populations out of their traditionally excluded
position providing them opportunities to participate in activities alongside members of the broader community.

$35,000 is available for each of the grants.
