U.B.U. - Unexpected, Bright, Undeniable
If you're 13-17 years old, you can become part of U.B.U. Club! As a member, you'll receive two newsletters a year. Inside will be articles on how to make the most of your money, how to prepare for college, and other important financial information.

You'll also get your own free Checking Account. With your new account you can get a free VISA Debit card, and there's no monthly fee or service charge! With a minimum of $5.00 in your account you’ll also earn dividends on your money, which allows your balance to grow. Dividends are figured on the daily balance and posted monthly. Over time you'll save enough money to pay for things like bikes, cars, stereo systems, and college.

If you're not going to need your money for a while, you may want to put it in a CD. With a CD, you can put a minimum of $100 away for a 12-month term or greater, up to 60-months. During that time, your money will grow at a faster rate than in a savings account because the interest payments are higher.

If you would like more information on the U.B.U. program contact us by email or call (319) 236-5600 or (800) 235-3228. Apply for a U.B.U. account at any of our branch locations.
