Veridian Grants
Veridian Credit Union has partnered with the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa (CFNEIA) to establish the Veridian Credit Union Fund. The Veridian Credit Union Fund will provide funding in two areas, through Veridian’s Financial Literacy Grant and Inclusive Community Grant. The Veridian Credit Union Fund will also provide funding through Rapid Response Grants for certain organizations.
- The Financial Literacy Grant is dedicated to improving financial literacy among adults and children.
- The Inclusive Community Grant mission is to create a community that is welcoming and inclusive of persons with disabilities, persons of modest means, and Latino immigrants.
- Rapid Response Grants have been established to help organizations address unforseen, unbudgeted needs of their organizations or their clients, and to respond to immediate situations or provide time-sensitive solutions to urgent issues.
Veridian will consider providing grants to non-profit organizations or government agencies who work to fulfill the mission of the Financial Literacy or Inclusive Community Grant programs. For more information on grant funding, timelines, and procedures, please contact Carolynn Sween at the CFNEIA at (319) 287-9106 or csween@cfneia.org.
