Job Title:   Information Systems Lead Security Engineer
Description:   Veridian Credit Union has a full-time opening for an Information Systems Lead Security Engineer. The successful applicant will collaborate with the Vice President of Information Technology in planning, managing, and overseeing all aspects of the information security program and managing security incidents
and events to protect corporate assets. Duties also include overseeing incident response planning as well as the investigation of security breaches.

Sound knowledge of internet security, encryption, identity management, intrusion detection and authentication systems required.  Must be able to leverage up-to-date knowledge on security incidents, news and hacking techniques to protect corporate assets.

This position reports to the Vice President of Information Technology and will be located in Waterloo. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in a related field, 7+ years experience in an information and infrastructure security related field, and experience in IS/IT management. Veridian has an excellent salary, benefit, and incentive package.
